Our Town Hall takes part since yesterday Thursday, June 1, in the 2nd edition of the International Economic Days of Municipalities (Jeicom23) which are held at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé. This initiative of the United Municipalities and Cities of Cameroon (CVUC) association has as its theme: “Territories faced with the imperative of food security”.

The opening ceremony at the Palais des Congrès took place under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Head of Government, Chief Joseph Dion Ngute. The Municipality of Tokombéré is represented at the highest level, by the mayor himself and some of his collaborators at the level of the Far North CVUCs.

His Majesty Boukar TIKIRE is in the oven and at the mill during this edition. In particular in order to present the investment opportunities in the Commune of Tokombéré to investors, but also to push with public bodies, for the completion of the multiple development projects undertaken in the Commune (roads, markets, urban development, health, water, sanitation, etc.) in progress or to come.

Between interviews granted to the press, exchanges with technical and financial institutions and meetings with various government personalities and counterparts from other Decentralized Territorial Collectivities in the country, it is a safe bet that great results are to be expected from this remarkable participation of Tokombéré at Jeicom23, which ends this Saturday, June 3.
