MUNICIPAL COUNCIL: THE 2024 BUDGET APPROVED
Gathered around the municipal executive, under the leadership of His Majesty BOUKAR Tikire, Mayor of the Municipality of Tokombéré, the municipal councilors and a group of guests from the city, which hosts the departmental institutions of Mayo-Sava, met on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, to examine and approve the proposed municipal budget for the year 2024.
This regular session was opened by the Mayor, who welcomed the guests and called for their focused attention on the purpose of the meeting so that everything could proceed smoothly.
After examining the proposed budget, which was presented to them, and unanimously, the budget was approved by all voters, in the presence of the Prefect of Mayo-Sava, Mr. NGBWA Ludovic Etienne.
The budget is an ambitious one, estimated at 1,269,755,709 (one billion two hundred sixty-nine million seven hundred fifty-five thousand seven hundred nine) CFA francs, balanced in terms of revenue and expenses. It is a realistic budget and implementation plan that will require the contribution of all for its numerous projects. Mayor SM Boukar Tkire therefore urges his colleagues to be more serious and committed in carrying out their assigned tasks.
During this session, the municipal councilors validated the Communal Development Plan and officially commissioned the new equipment of the Municipality.
