The Municipality of Tokombéré responded through its Mayor SM Boukar Tikiré to the invitation made by the fellow Municipality of the city of Konya in Turkey, a city with an ecstatic tourist charm and which attracts many tourists.

In the context of decentralization and local development, the legislator gives local authorities the possibility of establishing relations of local interest with other local authorities, whether within the national territory or outside. This is what guided us to take part like many other municipalities invited to this meeting to exchange experiences on local governance in order to improve the living conditions of the populations.
This meeting allowed us to sign several decentralized partnership agreements with Turkish municipalities, now our municipality is connected to that of the city of #Konya in Turkey.
