Under the theme: Solutions to plastic pollution, the youth of Tokombéré joined the rest of the world this Monday, June 05, 2023 to work to protect our mother nature.

Several members of the dynamic youth associations of our Commune have mobilized to clean the gutters and make our market clean by picking up plastic materials. Every local citizen should commit to safeguarding a clean city. This practice is to be encouraged in our commune.
The fiftieth anniversary of World Environment Day.

Led by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and held annually on June 5 since 1973, World Environment Day is the world’s largest platform for raising public awareness of the environment and is celebrated by million people around the world.
This day aims to instill positive change. People from several countries take part in this international day of the United Nations, which celebrates environmental action and the power of governments, companies and individuals to create a more sustainable world.
